HatchPath Payment and Refund Policy
1. Client Payment Options:
Clients have the flexibility to choose between two payment options:
- Pay Upfront: Clients can pay for their entire program upfront, covering multiple sessions in advance.
- Pay Per Session: Clients can pay for each session individually, offering more flexibility in scheduling and payment.
2. Escrow Account and Payment Release:
- Client payments are securely held in an escrow account facilitated by our trusted payment partner, Stripe.
- Funds from the escrow account are released to the coach after the completion of each session on the HatchPath platform, ensuring both parties are protected.
3. Platform Fees:
- Clients: Clients are responsible for a 10% platform fee on the total payment for each session. This fee supports the continued improvement and maintenance of the HatchPath platform.
- Coaches: Coaches are subject to a 20% platform fee on the total payment for each session, unless they have received a special offer from HatchPath. This fee covers operational costs and ongoing support for coaches.
4. Processing Fees:
- Both clients and coaches are responsible for processing fees charged by Stripe, our payment partner. These fees cover the costs associated with securely processing the transactions. The exact processing fees will be clearly communicated during the payment process.
5. Refund Policy:
- Cancellations within 24 hours: Cancellations made within 24 hours of a scheduled session are non-refundable and count as a completed session. This policy ensures fairness to coaches who reserve their time for scheduled sessions.
- Client no-shows: If a client fails to attend a scheduled session without prior notice, it is considered a completed session, and no refund will be issued.
- Coach no-shows: If a coach fails to attend a scheduled session, the client will receive a refund for that session or have the option to rebook the session with the same coach.
Please note that our refund policy aims to maintain accountability and fairness for both clients and coaches. It is important to communicate any changes, cancellations, or rescheduling requests in a timely manner to ensure a smooth coaching experience.
