About This Event
About This Session
Motivation is not a strategy. And for anyone who has ever tried to pursue a big goal while real life is happening all around them, Coach Alexandra Kozlowski knows exactly what that feels like.
Alex is a NASM certified personal trainer, nutrition coach, and USATF Level 1 running coach, and a former Division I runner at NC State. But this session is not about her credentials. It is about her journey. Alex will share her personal experience of training toward the Olympic dream while simultaneously transitioning into a full-time, in-person career, navigating the collision of two demanding worlds at once and doing it honestly, without a highlight reel.
She will talk through the real challenges of managing time when there is not enough of it, adapting to routines that keep shifting, overcoming self-doubt in the middle of a long stretch, and staying committed to long-term goals when the initial excitement is long gone. This is not a session about having it all figured out. It is a session about what you do when you do not.
What to Expect
This session blends personal narrative with practical application. Alex will walk participants through strategies for maintaining discipline during difficult seasons, reframing setbacks as opportunities for growth, and building the kind of habits that hold up when motivation has left the building. The central shift of this session is moving away from relying on motivation and toward building sustainable systems that support your goals regardless of how you feel on any given day.
Expect honesty, energy, and takeaways you can implement the same day.
Why Attend
Most performance conversations focus on peak conditions. This one focuses on the messy middle, the season of competing priorities, unexpected obstacles, and life that simply does not cooperate. Alex brings a rare combination of elite athletic experience and real-world professional transition, making her perspective both aspirational and immediately relatable. Attendees will leave with actionable tools, renewed confidence, and the mindset to keep moving forward even when the plan falls apart.
Because the goal was never perfection. It was persistence.
