Why We Started a Podcast: On Transformational Conversations and the Stories That Change People
The thinking behind HatchPath's podcast and why stories — not statistics — are how minds actually change

HatchPath has produced white papers. Case studies. Statistics. Press coverage. These matter. But when Jordan Dunin decided to launch a podcast, it was for a reason that none of those formats can achieve: creating the kind of conversation that changes how someone sees what's possible for themselves.
Why Stories Change Minds When Statistics Don't
The research on persuasion and behavior change consistently shows that narrative is more powerful than data for shifting beliefs and motivating action. When we hear a story about someone like us who faced what we're facing and found a way through, something happens in the brain that doesn't happen when we read a statistic. Neural coupling — the alignment of listener brain patterns with speaker brain patterns — creates an experience of genuine understanding that data simply cannot produce.
Jordan understood this from his own experience. The information that chronic Lyme disease required behavioral consistency was useful. But what gave him the capacity to act on that information, in the hardest moments, was the story of someone else who had been through difficulty and come out the other side. Stories are evidence of the possible. They change what we believe can happen — and therefore what we try.
"The podcast isn't a marketing channel. It's an extension of the coaching model. Every conversation we record is an attempt to create the experience of being in the room with someone who went through something real — and made it through."
Transformational Conversations: The Mission
The podcast is called Transformational Conversations. The name is intentional. A transformational conversation is not an informational one. It's a conversation that creates a before and after — in which the person listening (or participating) comes out of it with a different relationship to their own situation, their own capacity, or their own next step.
The guests include HatchPath coaches sharing the science and practice of what they do. Advisors like Monica Fullerton of Spouse-ly — who built a global marketplace for military families on the principles of alignment over balance. Partners like OVAL's Dylan Winters, who connected the science of metabolic performance to the nervous system regulation that sits at HatchPath's core.
Featured On: Entrepreneurs On Fire
Jordan appeared on Entrepreneurs On Fire — one of the top entrepreneurship podcasts globally — to share the story of HatchPath's founding and the market thesis behind it. The conversation reached a wide business audience with a message the wellness industry rarely delivers to entrepreneurs directly: your behavioral patterns are the highest-leverage variable in your performance. Not your strategy. Not your funding. You.
Why We Keep Making It
Every episode is, in some sense, a version of the same conversation Jordan couldn't have when he was sick and looking for answers — a real, honest exchange with someone who has direct experience with the thing you're navigating, who tells you the truth rather than the version that sounds better.
That conversation is what HatchPath coaches have with their clients every week. The podcast brings it to anyone who needs to hear it.
Listen to the HatchPath podcast on Spotify — or find a coach on hatchpath.io who can have this conversation with you directly.
